ARGENTINA GOALKEEPER FOOTBALL SHIRT 1990

Condition: 8/10 - Very good. Crest great, Adidas motif has extremely light wear on close inspection. Material very good with very minimal, general age-related fade to pattern, collar has discoloured. Faded #12 for Argentina's Italia '90 hero Sergio Goycochea.

Notes: Ultra-rare, colourful goalkeeper shirt as worn at Italia '90, when Argentina reached the final, losing to Germany 1-0. 

 

As worn by Sergio Goycochea; the goakeeper stepped in for injured Pumpido in the second game, and played all the remainder games. Goycochea played a vital role in Argentina's road to the final, keeping a clean sheet against Brazil and saving penalties in the quarter-final and semi-final shootouts.
